Argo Navis

Argo Navis had extensive damage after being t-boned during a race off Freshwater Bay. It took close to an hour to remove the other boat from Argo Navis external surface. Extensive fibreglass work took place internally and externally as well as the rebuild of the galley and forward cabin areas. Following these repairs, we sprayed the exterior for a finish better than before the accident.

Sovereign

The Sovereign’s Owner, Alan used his skills to strip the deck of all hardware and removed the old teak deck prior to handing her over to our team. The Sovereign was repainted from the waterline upwards using Awlgrip 2000 topcoat paint. New Burmese teak decking was installed for a functional and stylish finish.

Maria - A Saloon Transformation

Maria, formally Scouts Honour had a saloon transformation to ensure a stylish interior matched the exterior of the boat. The saloon was stripped, and we reclaimed half of the downstairs second bathroom. The change in dimensions gave us room to install a washing machine as well as to extend the gallery over the top.

New lounge and seating areas were added to include the kitchen in conversations. A new cork deck was laid to provide a softer feel. We also extended the flybridge hardtop to give enough room and shade for a small party.

Victoria 2

This Halvorsen had extensive damage to the ribs and planking mid ships which needed pulling back into shape. 12 new sister ribs were installed to the area. We steamed in a steam box and clamped into place for roving. The planks were then repaired, nailed and roved back into place. New caulking was then applied and puttied.

Maria - A Complete Interior Refit

Formally Scouts Honour

Helen & Jeff approached me to transform the saloon, outside areas as well as the name. The scope of works was to get the inside of the boat to flow to the outside & visa versa. We completely stripped the saloon & re claimed half of the down stairs second bathroom. This gave us room to put in a washing machine & to extend the galley area over the top of it. New lounge & seating areas were designed to involve the chef into the conversations from both interior & exterior. The whole fit out was designed & made on site in our Fremantle sailing club shed. The back deck had a cork deck laid to give it a softer feel. We also extended the flybridge hardtop to give enough room & shade for a small party. The last thing was to change the name to Maria.
